There's a Kangaroo loose in London Zoo: I'm shit at Pilates
In this new episode, I discuss my personal struggles with Pilates and the concept of dissociation in movement. I reflect on my experiences as a Pilates instructor and emphasize the importance of integrated movement over dissociation. I argue that natural, intuitive movement is more beneficial for clients, leading to greater strength, flexibility, and skill in their daily lives. I advocate for a positive mindset in teaching, aiming to empower individuals rather than focusing on their limitations.
