The Frankenstein Project: Tendon Stretch

  • Duration 5 hours of self-paced study:
  • This module of the Frankenstein program deconstructs Tendon Stretch in strength, and skill challenges, and takes the movement to new and previously unimagined iterations through adjustments to the apparatus. In the second workshop, we explore layers and clusters that we can use in general programming to help clients move towards Tendon Stretch and what to do when the best-laid plans come unstuck.  We look at how these developmental layers and clusters can contribute to lesson plans and how those lesson plans can be laid out over longer periods of time to facilitate success
  • Key points/outcomes:-Workshop 1:
    1. Review the movement
    2. Deconstruct Strength, Range of Motion and Control
    3. Effect of different spring tensions
    4. Exercises that predict
    5. Layers

           -Workshop 2:

Visual deconstruction of the movement and building clusters

-Contrology collective sessions real-world examples x 2 (see classes taught to the general public)
